Base Heads - Males - Base meshes for concept/illustration
**Note: These are 300k+ faces per head and only auto-remeshed not re-topologized. They are intended for illustration, reference, and concept sculpting only.**
We've all been there. You've got a great idea for a character design, but by the time you've shaped your head and sorted it out anatomically, the fire is gone. These Hand-sculpted mannequin heads will shortcut your design time by allowing quick drag and drop into Blender so you can get straight to work on your idea. There's even a bonus procedural skin shader with customizable colors so you're not stuck with just dark/light skin. You can have any skin color supported by RGB!
Multiple Blend file formats included so you can easily import from the asset browser or append from the BaseHeads Blend file. The base meshes have also been included as OBJ files without texture for a convenient way to import into any 3d software(note:OBJ versions cannot include the procedural skin shader as it's only compatible with Blender)
Includes:
-5 total Male heads- hand sculpted in Blender
--African American, Asian, Caucasian, Thin, & Overweight
-Basic skin shader with customizable colors and surface noise
-A basic light/camera setup for lighting the faces for art reference
-Auto-remeshed and ready to be taken into sculpt mode for further customization or concept sculpting. Or use as a mannequin to design clothing/armor/horns, anything you can dream up!
-.obj exports of each head - these do not include the skin shader although that can easily be appended or dropped in from the asset browser if you're using Blender.
-Separate blend files are included for either appending the collection or adding into the asset browser
--Note the difference: Append version: The head, neck and eyes head are separate objects and placed in a collection. These have to be manually appended into a new Blend File. Asset browser version: The head, neck, and eyes are joined into one object and marked as an asset for easy drag and drop from Blender's Asset Browser. The eyes/neck can still be manually separated if needed. The eye and skin shaders are also marked as assets in this file. Both include exactly the same models/shaders but are provided in different formats for convenience.
-Created in Blender 3.0(Meshes should be compatible but the shaders may or may not cause issues with older versions.)
*note about representation: I've included very stylized and general representations of different races and body sizes. These are not meant as a representation of any real humans. They are heavily stylized and very general mannequins meant to be used as a base to create fantasy/sci-fi art with. My hope is that trying to be inclusive (even if it only includes a few general options) is not construed as insulting or insensitive.
